The LVCUGEN workshop internal to the project was organized virtually due to the Covid-19 pandemic on July 2nd
Last week, different team members from our four consortium companies attended an internal workshop organized by the French National Centre for Space Studies (CNES) to present its general software for embedded systems: LVCUGEN.
This CNES’ generic framework is based upon a set of generic software building blocks, a qualified development process and associated offline tools for on-board software. This workshop helped to present LVCUGEN to the consortium to assess its possible application as De-RISC’s use case.
Julien Galizzi, from CNES, was the speaker of the session and succeeded catching the attention of the 10 attendees. During its presentation, Galizzi talked about the origins of this onboard software, its objectives, and how LVCUGEN works with XtratuM.
The four partners from De-RISC were very well impressed to learn about the LVCUGEN product developed by CNES and its relevance to our project. Now, it is time to determine its potential use in our use case which will be performed by Thales Research and Technology.
